We purchase Carbon Offsets which are derived from companies reducing their Greenhouse Gas emissions or operating Renewable Energy Projects. We sell those credits to people and businesses who wish to offset their own CO^₂ emissions, and then retire the credits from the available pool so that they are never traded again. That is a Carbon Offset. Turning Credits into Offsets provides revenue to the credit producers, making otherwise unprofitable emission reduction and renewable energy projects profitable so that they get done. That part of the Carbon Offset business model is really very simple, and makes a real difference to the environment.
